Health Check Results

The results are in….

Glenn and his team have taken the time to personally analyse your Instagram profile and have made the following discoveries and recommendations….

Profile Picture

Profile Pic is the snow field with building in the background.

If you have a logo for Stonebridge we recommend using this as your profile pic. If not, then consider an up close image of the accommodation.

The bio is quite specific on what Stonebridge is (ski accommodation). However could be broken up into sections and also include a call-to-action to drive followers to the website.

We recommend adding a specific call-to-action at the bottom of your bio to encourage your audience to click through to your website and make a booking. Just as an example, something along the lines of; “Bookings essential. Visit website below”

This can help to increase web traffic from your profile.

Also in your bio we recommend potentially 2 or 3 shorter lines to make it easier to read. Also consider including some emoji’s to break up the text.

Story Cover Images

No story highlights at this stage. A great opportunity to include some.

We recommend adding story highlights to your profile. This will help to give your followers a deeper look into who you are and what you do. It can also help to categorise your offering. You could for example have story highlights for the different rooms you offer, customer testimonials, our community, on the slopes etc.

We also recommend using cover images for each highlight to give the profile more of a consistent theme

Images and video look ok but quality and style could improve as well as the frequency of posts. No story content at the time of health check.

We recommend ramping up the frequency of the newsfeed posts. Aim to post every day in your newsfeed. We also recommend increasing your story content, aiming for 3-6 stories per day.

The newsfeed content itself is ok but I feel like more up close and personal shots of clients enjoying the accommodation itself would help to showcase more of what the accommodation has to offer. Potentially more images of clients enjoying the services, the rooms made up, smiling faces etc. Using portrait mode on the iphone can be a great way to get a more professional feel to these kinds of images.

A lot of the video content could actually be used as story content instead of in the newsfeed which would help to keep the newsfeed itself for the higher quality images.

Also aim to use more hashtags to reach your target audience. You can use up to 30 hashtags in one post.

Grid could benefit from a more standardised theme.

We recommend looking into running your images through a filter which can help to give your images across your grid a more consistent and professional feel. Lightroom is an app we recommend among others. I’m happy to have more of a chat with you about this step to explain further.

Comments and engagement could be improved

Asking a question in your posts can be a great way to encourage more engagement from your followers. We recommend doing this and working on responding to as many comments from your followers as possible to build a strong audience.
